We spend a lot of time helping people get better at understanding other people. If you really understand someone else then when you frame a request you frame it in a way that makes sense to them.
It's just as important to understand ourselves. If we don't understand our own motivations, biases and the filters through which we see the world then we can't understand how that affects how are messages are framed.
